As one reviewer stated below, this is NOT a ballet tape. It is an aerobic workout tape that incorporates some ballet technique and it does focus on creating the lean, long look of a dancer. I have studied ballet for fifteen years. I really enjoy doing this workout for cardio, and the floor section is amazing - the first time I did it two days in a row, I felt three inches taller the next day and my hyper-extended back was nicely aligned. It is a good workout and it develops lean muscle very effectively. Stephanie Herman's voice is very high and I can see how it might annoy some people, but it didn't bother me. Actually whenever I'm talking to my boyfriend and I say "squeeze", I say "sqEEEEZE!!!" like she does and he even adds in the "if you don't squeeze it you won't lose it!" line (he's had to endure hearing this video over and over again, poor man.) If you're looking for a ballet training tape, Kultur puts out a series mentioned by another reviewer and they are good.
